White truffle (Tuber magnatum)

General information: The price is for 100 grams of selected truffles and acts only as an indication. Please send Matteo a message and ask for the current price as it is depending on the season/availabilty and the amount you are interested (minimum 50 grams).

White truffle (Tuber magnatum): This truffle grows in the same season of the tuber uncinatum (October to January). It is the king of the truffle, the most expensive one and the hardest to find. The smell is so powerful and the taste so delicate and fragrant. Best dishes with white truffles are e.g. tagliolini with butter, fried egg or carpaccio.
